We are thrilled to offer our Fall 2026 Native Garden Kits July 6th through the end of August. For a pre-rebate price of $150, you will receive a set of 10 native plants–specially curated to enhance the beauty and sustainability of your garden. These plants are well-suited to the local climate, require less maintenance, and support local wildlife. Be sure to reserve your kit early and get ready to transform your garden into a beautiful and sustainable oasis!
The rebate can not be applied retroactively. You may purchase multiple kits at the same time, but only one rebate is available per household. There are limited quantities of the kits and they are only available while supplies last.
We are offering 4 options for pick up only (Select "Pick Up" at checkout, “Ship” is the default). The exact location will be finalized and communicated in early October. Currently, our system shows “Pasadena Water and Power Facility” as the location. The tentative date for the distribution event is Saturday, November 7th.
What’s Inside Your Kit
-
10, one-gallon native plants pre-designed for 10’x10’, or any 100 square foot garden space
-
A ‘plant-by-number’ site map
-
A native plant installation guide and educational materials
Kits will be available for purchase from July 6th through August 31st, or when kits sell out, whichever occurs first. An email from nativegarden@treepeople.org will be sent out on the first Monday of October with instructions to sign up for a pick up time and location. The exact location will be made available via the October email. If you have any questions, please email nativegarden@treepeople.org. Refunds are only available up to 14 days prior to the pick up date.
The Native Garden Kit is designed with selected species serving specific roles. Our suggested layouts arrange the plants in a way to draw the eye in and create both depth and texture in your yard. There may be times when our preferred species are unavailable. In these instances, we have a range of alternates that meet all of our program’s specifications. While it is our goal to provide the species listed on our website, they may be substituted by other species with similar characteristics (bloom schedule, size at maturity, water needs, etc) depending on their availability from our partners.
