TreePeople's Native Garden Kit is designed to make native landscape transformation accessible, affordable, and hassle-free. This kit will help residents reduce water usage, beautify the urban environment, and support native plant nurseries across Southern California.

Please read the description carefully as this is a pick-up-ONLY product. If you select "Ship" as your delivery method you will NOT be able to proceed with a purchase. You must choose "Pick Up."

What’s Inside Your Kit

  • 10, one-gallon native plants pre-designed for 10’x10’, or any 100 square foot garden space
  • A ‘plant-by-number’ site map
  • A native plant installation guide and educational materials


We are offering two kits for Spring 2023

Our full sun option includes the following plants including their quantities:

(1) Cleveland sage (Salvia clevelandii)
(2) Margarita BOP penstemon (Penstemon heterophyllus)
(1) Firecracker penstemon (Penstemon eatonii)
(2) Silver Carpet Aster (Corethrogyne (Lessingia) filaginifolia)
(2) Purple Three Awn (Aristida purpurea)
(2) Lilac verbena (Verbena lilacina)

 

Our partial sun/partial shade option includes the following plants including their quantities:

(1) Golden currant (Ribes aureum)
(2) Fragrant pitcher sage (Lepechinia fragrans)
(2) Yerba buena (Clinopodium douglasii)
(5) California fuchsia (Epilobium canum)

 

What to Expect

When you complete your purchase you’ll receive a confirmation email with follow up information.

Initial pick up is scheduled to take place March 22nd and 23rd. There is only one location, TreePeople's Land Trust in Calabasas. The address is 23075 Mulholland Highway. NOTE: This is not at TreePeople's Headquarters at Coldwater Canyon Park. This is a change from previous communications.

Look for an email from nativegarden@treepeople.org to sign up for times and dates to pick up your kit.

Each box is 27" x 19" x 9" and weighs approximately 40 pounds.

Additional pick up days will be made available in April.
